It’s a day off work for the UK, so time to take advantage of the break to catch up on stuff I’ve wanted to see.
I’m watching the Tetralogy of Shakespeare’s history plays, first adapted in 2012 as part of the Olympic Cultural Festival. That means starting with Richard II, which Ben Whishaw owns with an insolent arrogance. I’ll do a proper review when done, but stopped an hour in last night due mostly to fatigue. Shakespeare is hard going, the language especially melts my brain. However, plot is grasped.
I’ll be back with you when it’s done.
